Sport fishing my passion, my lifestyle
the beginning
Born in 1977 in Naples, Italy, I embraced my passion for fishing since a very early age.
Since I was only 4, my family used to bring me along to a 2 months holiday in Greece. That’s where I first fall in love with the undersea world: in one of the most magical fishing spots of the entire Mediterranean Sea.
Since then, my passion for fishing kept growing. At only 16 years old I was elected the technical director of a sport fishing club in Naples, the Fishing Club Petrarca. I started to win competitions and in 1994 I became the trolling regional champion of the Italian federation. At 19 years old I moved to Parga, Greece, where I had my first sport fishing charter boats and a shipyard.
In 2004 I came back to Italy where I continued my charters and started to spread my knowledge, mostly through sport fishing magazines at the beginning.
Lots of partnerships and cooperation in different sport fishing branches started then:
documentaries (presenter and productions);
consulting;
communication, education, conservation;
testimonial;
events management.

IF IT'S NOT AT SEA
Since 2007, he has been for 9 years Testimonial for the premium brand of boat fishing equipment: Lowrance, part of the Navico Group, a world leader in marine electronics. Over the years, the company has entrusted him with the role of Fishing ProStaff, and for three years he became a ProTeam.

He has been a Testimonial for the Chatch & Relese brand, a manufacturer of fishing glasses, for the Studio Link company, and married to the great sign of Santo Versace, President of the Operation Smile Italia Onlus Foundation, which has been supported in the world of fishing for 10+ years by Captain Onofaro.
For over 20 years, he has been a Product Developer for companies such as:
Falcon, ATC, Tiburon, WMC, Waki, Bulox, DTD, Jatsui, Surecatch, Pac Bay, and Strike Footwear. These companies have also produced lines of fishing rods and accessories branded with his signature.
He is constantly contacted by major sporting events and national and international fishing competitions, nautical and fishing fairs and events as a testimonial and special guest.
